About Us

In life, we believe we have a passion, purpose, and a gift that we are put here to share with others.  Our passion is showing children all the potential they have and can become. Our purpose is to educate children and show them that there are no boundaries, only those they create for themselves.  Our gift is to illustrate to others how to aid and assist a child in reaching his or her full potential.  We teach, empower, guide, and encourage. These guiding principles allow us to live our passion, understand purpose, and share gifts. My Buddy Book Club was created by educators who want students to achieve their full potential by engaging in learning in a creative and metacognitive way.

 

The founding partner, Stephanie, has over 20 years of experience as a K-8 educator, administrator, and educational consultant.  She has a Masters in Education, Public Administration, and Training and Organizational Development. Stephanie, along with Eyvette and her team of other educators designed the boxes to support learning, empower parents to help support educating their children, and to engage students in reading comprehension and STEM activities. Using our box will support your students in becoming independent thinkers, build strong content knowledge in reading and writing, teach them to critique the writing of others, find and value evidence, and most importantly ask themselves “why”.  It is our desire that your children will have the potential to be all they can become and more!
